how far in advance do you pack?

usually no more than 12 hours, most gets done while DH is warming up the car...

i usually check a few days-a week before to make sure the clothes we need are clean (b/c we dont have a W&D and have to drop it off at the laundromat)... but, as much as i try to do it in advance, we always end up packing at the last minute

About one to two days before hand although we'll start setting stuff out as early as a week before we leave.

lol - I have a complete list 2 weeks in advance, and I'm usually all packed w/ 5 days to go.
I'm OCD - I HAAATE forgetting things.
Rich packs the morning of.

I usually pack like 2 days before and then repack everything the day before cause I cant remembered what I packed already

I have everything together the weekend before (shopping for things like sun tan lotion etc) but I don't physically put it into the bag until the night before so it doesn't get so wrinkled

I make a list about 2 weeks before and then pack a few days before. I have to start making a list for Jamaica.

For my 2 week long honeymoon I was packing at 3 am even though we were getting picked up at like 4:30 am

it depends what the season where i am
If i am going in the summer to a tropical place..2 days before
If it is winter i do it about a weeik and get it over with.

We are last minute packers! We leave next week and havent begun to THINK about packing.
I havent even taken all of the gifts out of the suitcase yet from Christmas!

I start DAYS in advance with stuff I won't need till the trip (I have tons of travel size toiletries, for example) but I am always scrambling for something at the last minute. I am just disorganized like that.
