When you finally get your BFP...
Do you think you'll find out your baby's sex or leave it a surprise. Just wondering...sorry if this question is personal.
I would love to keep it a surprise, but I think finding out would make the planning (and shopping!!) so much easier. So I am a "Yes" vote to finding out.

DH and I wanted to know the sex from the moment we finally got our BFP. I am impatient person in a good way I give correct to parents to be who want to be surprised.

With #2 it will be a suprise

I found out with DD#1 and will find out with baby #2 if we are blessed with another one...no doubt about it.
I think knowing the sex allowed me to bond with my child even more. It really is a personal decision though , there is no right or wrong

I'm pretty sure I want to wait so that it's a surprise. I can just imagine how cool it would be to announce, it's a boy, it's a girl!
But I'm notorious for snooping around for my xmas presents... We'll see.

I used to say I didn't want to know - that there are so few surprises, I wanted to have that one.
Then when I got pregnant I realized that no matter when you find out its a surprise! I am so happy we found out - it was such an exciting day. I also love being able to call my babies "he and she" instead of "it."

Thank you! we both agree that there are VERY few great surprises you can have in life...so why not let the sex of our baby be one...
if we have a second - we may find out - not sure..haven't discussed that yet...

I'm torn. I definately want to find out for shopping/decorating/naming/bonding purposes. But I also want the big surprise and the excitement of waiting. DH does not want to find out at all.

W/ DS, we started out saying we didn't want to find out, then we went for our level II sono & we still didn't want to know, so we had the sono tech write the gender on paper & put it in a sealed envelope. We barely made it out the door of the imaging place before I started begging DH to open it. I have NO self control, so this time will be no different, I'm sure.

I found out with DS and will definatley find out with the next baby! It made having him so much more real to me! I don't get how it's not a suprise if you find out at 20 weeks or birth

We made an agreement...
If it's ONE baby - then, no, we won't find out and let it be a surprise... cuz like Jess said, there are so few in life...
BUT!
If it's twins (which are rampant throughout my family there are 6 six - including my brothers...  ) we would find out to make the "planning" easier on us... and the rest of the family.

I don't want to know but DH wants to know. He thinks if he knows he will be able to keep it to himself until the baby is born but I highly doubt that.
