Do you leave any windows in your place open or do you close everything up?

DH is good at remembering to close the windows, I am not. Usually they are closed.
When I lived alone, I pretty much left the windows at least cracked, even in the winter. It got so hot in my apt.

This is so funny that you posted this.
I love leaving the windows up and Phil flips out. I am the last one to leave but he is the first to come home and freaks when I leave the windows on the 1st floor open.

I love leaving the windows up and Phil flips out. I am the last one to leave but he is the first to come home and freaks when I leave the windows on the 1st floor open.

we close them before we go to bed at night (if its going to rain overnight or the next day), otherwise we leave them open.
these past few days were the 1st ina long time that we've been able to keep them open consistently, and i feel like it makes it so refreshing in the morning.
(we live on the 2nd floor though... it might be different if we were on the 1st or had a house)

I leave one open in the bathroom and one in the kitchen. But when we move, we will (hopefully) be on the 4th floor, so I'll leave most open. I need the fresh air but I'm paranoid of who can get in.

We close everything up. We have central air, so that is set at like 75 for when we're not home and then we lower it when we are home.

We usually leave one window open that is away from the porch. We live in a second floor apartment that is in a courtyard so all the apts face each other. Someone would need a ladder to get in.
We are buying a ranch so no more open windows when we aren't home.

depends...it's pretty humid down here, so they stay closed with the AC on. But the past few days it's been in the low 70's in the AM so I open them up for a bit and close them before I leave

We're on the second floor, so we leave them open most of the time. If we know it's going to rain later in the day, then we'll close them before leaving for work.
