I basically bring all of my own stuff...shampoo, conditioner, bar of soap, toothpaste, body wash, razors, etc. I like to use my own stuff; I'll use the hotel's body wash if it's available though. I don't bring my own toilet paper.
As far as the blowdryer, I will bring one if I plan to use it. I went on a beach vacation this year and knew that I wasn't going to blow dry my hair, so I left it at home.

We bring our own toiletries. I do like the Bliss products at the W and white tea at Westins so if we are staying there, I don't bring shampoo, conditioner, etc.

I stayed at a place once that had Malin and Goetz toiletries. I was in heaven!

When traveling do you bring things even though
Depending on the hotel chain we stay in, I generally bring my hairdryer, toiletries. Some hotel chains I love their toiletries so I use them.

I bring my own pillows and my own shampoo and conditioner. I have brought my own bar soap too.
I did stay in a hotel where they provided Philosophy products, that was nice!

I do use their shampoo and conditioner.
I usually only bring a carry on so the less I can take the better.
I do take shave gel, razor, shower scrunchee, tooth paste/toothbrush and deodorant.
