When to start prenatals?
Does your cycle affect or dictate when you should start prenatals?
Also, does smoking counteract the pills? Thanks : )

You can take them at any time - and I don't believe smoking counteracts anything!

They say to start about three months prior to TTC. Smoking is not a good thing and every smoker knows this, but people still get pregnant who are smokers. I would try to quit. I am trying (not doing the best job though  )

Start taking them whenever you want.
Stop smoking asap. I know people still get pregnant while smoking, but it can damage the egg and cause early miscarriage, and it could do something to the uterine lining to cause the embryo not be able to implant.

ITA. I was a smoker until 6 weeks ago. My dr. yelled at me and told me that many smokers have miscarriages!!! I stoped the next day.!!
Ask your dr. for Zyban.. It's working for me!! I would start prenatls now.
