When to schedule pap

I just called my Dr. and I'm due for my yearly pap.

Took the 1st appt. they had which was Jan. 24th. Just realized I will be at CD16 at that point.

i still don't know when I O but just started using the CBEOT so I'm hoping to get a smiley face this time!!

Anyway - question is Should I schedule my Pap for later in my Cycle? Because I've hard you're not supposed to BD before a pap and I plan on BD from CD12 - 16 and beyond to GET IT DONE THIS MONTH!!!! LOL

Should I reschedule to later in my cycle?

U cant get a pap if you bd 24hrs prior... chances are that u could get an inaccurate result and have to go again. Id r/s for the following week

I needed a second opinion bc when I tried calling the Drs. Office to ask them i was put on hold for 15 minutes and got annoyed.

Lol no prob... i worked in an ob/gyns office from 1998-2004 so i remember some stuff

I'm glad you asked this question!! I have an appt scheduled for Feb. 2nd, trying out a new ob/gyn for my check up.....I would've been fine but since AF showed up so late this past cycle, I might be O'ing the week of 2/2, so I guess I'll be rescheduling too! I had no idea you shouldn't BD before a pap! Maybe that's why my last one came back inconclusive!
