My best friend is pregnant! I need gift ideas!
Hi all! I got the call last night that my best friend is pregnant  She lives upstate and I would like to send her a small gift. She is only two months along, so what do you think would be an appropriate gift. She collects Precious Moments figurines, but I am thinking that someone already bought her that. Any suggestions?

My mom got me a gift basket from the florist filled with all kinds of baby stuff. You could probably make one.

I second that... U can fill it with informational books (what to expect when u'r expecting), maybe some sucking candies (preggie pops), and some other cute things.... u can find all that basically @ the front door of BRU when u walk in!

some books that i went out and got were Jenny McCarthy's Belly Laughs, the Baby Bargains Book, and My Boys Can Swim for Dh...
one of the first real things that I think i will actually purchase for myself is that giant pillow to help you sleep when the belly gets bigger. Also, palmers cocoa butter for stretch marks, and a nice pair of maternity sweats to grow into...

also: DH got me the precious moments, but another famikly friend got us "the gift" from Willow Tree... it was really beautiful...

Willow Tree's are gorgeous-love that one. Maybe a subscription to a preggo magazine-Fit Pregnancy is good if she is into exercise
