We're going over at 2, we'll probably eat at 3:30. Then onto the couch to watch the game.

Same here.

We actually have a "cocktail hour" before dinner. Cheese, crackers, dip, a few drinks...then the turkey, then dessert, then more turkey later on...

Re: When is Thanksgiving "dinner"?

we arrive at 1:30 - dinner is usually around 3:30-4

usually at 3, my aunt tells everyone to sit at the table because they are carving the turkey

about 30 minutes pass until someone from the table yells into the kitchen, "what the f*ck is going on in there?" Chat Icon

kickoff is at 4:15 Chat Icon

Re: When is Thanksgiving "dinner"?

Since everyone is coming to Jersey from LI, we are sitting down to eat at 2:30. I was informed by all parties that in order to not sit in traffic all day they will be here by 10:30 tomorrow morning and leaving at 5

Re: When is Thanksgiving "dinner"?

Wow you all eat so early. Since no one is travelling really (my parents come from Commack to Levittown and my inlaws live 2 blocks away), we aren't eating until 5-5:30pm.
