When I am going to feel REAL KICKS!!!
So I am 20weeks, 2 days and nothing yet. I mean, I think I have occasional flutters, but they are soooo sporadic and not constant at all.
When will I finally get to feel full fledged kicks?
I am so anxious for this to happen and I am so shocked I havent felt anything substantial yet.
When I went for the Level 2 last week they said she was active, but I am so nervous that I haven'tfelt her.
Also, my placenta is in the right spot, so that has nothing to do with it.

sweety - the ULTIMATE thing i have learned from this website is that we are all SO very different....
i didn't start feeling miss Emma until maybe 22 weeks and now at 24, going on 25 - i still have days where i don't feel her a lot (yesterday for example, but Friday - i felt her ALL DAY LONG)....
you'll get there...and trust me - you'll love every second of it!

Thanks Jess, I am just waiting every single day thinking this is the day, or this is the week and then the week comes to an end and NOTHING. I am not even sure about these flutters. They come and go so much too! But they are definitely not kicks.
I am just such a nervous nelly about EVERYTHING!!!

i wish there was something we could do to get the baby to kick lol
once i feel  or ill be able to relax a little. i worry everyday something is wrong. i hate that feeling of not knowing

cherish the free time. By 30 + weeks when someone wedges their foot into your bladder or rib cage or pushes down so hard you feel your whole v will fall out right then and there you will miss these kick free relaxing days.
Trust me, there will be nights when all you want is a comfortable position and some time to sleep and allyour baby wants is to use you to practice kickboxing.....

You might be mistaking movement for gas and other gastrointestinal things. I remember the first "real" movement felt like thumping on my cervix and bladder. Now that I am almost 31 weeks, there are some very active days and some quieter days. I only started getting the very strong kicks where my whole belly moves a few weeks ago.

At 21 weeks on the dot I fekt both my babies and they did not stop until they were delivered at 35 weeks I first felt them drinking an orange gatorade and they always moved if I ate chocolate

i started feeling them at 18 wks but as the weeks go they get more apparent.i only feel them at night or when im relaxing. hardly ever during the day

I m pretty sure the flutters I am feeling are the baby. I doubt they are gas bc I never ever felt something like this before. It feels like a popping feeling. Like soda fizzle...or something like that. They strted at about 18 weeks.
But the kicks, are just not there yet.

have you tried sugar?
ive been feeling kicks for a over 2 months now... but dh still couldnt feel it..
today i eat a dunkin donuts vanilla creme donut & iced decaf coffee with sugar... and baby kicked so much dh felt alot of it too....

I started feeling flutters at 15-16 weeks. Although the flutters got stronger and more frequent, I didn't feel actual kicks until 21 weeks. Don't worry. It will happen soon.

I'm feeling nothing! 18 weeks today! 
At least, I'm not aware that I am feeling anything.
Baby has been very bouncy at the sonos (12w, 16w) so I'm not *concerned* just anxious to finally feel it!!!

Right around 20 weeks is when I first NOTICED it was kicking. I kept thinking it was muscle spasms or gas (i do have anterior placenta though) once I realized the same feeling quite a few times a day every day, I knew it was him kicking me. He's actually kicking me now. I only really feel it when I'm sitting hunched over the computer or when I'm in bed at night. you'll feel it soon don't worry

My first real kicks were at about 19 weeks. However, the baby was kicking my cervix, so it really hurt.
Be patient, you'll start to feel them soon.

With my son I didn't feel kicks until about 23 weeks - and then it was nonstop until 42 weeks!

I will be 24 weeks on Wed and I just started really feeling her after I eat or lay down at night or hubby talks to her around 21-22weeks now I feel her all the time

I feel the same as many of you...I am feeling flutters or "wiggles" as I call them...like a fish wiggling in my belly...I have days where I feel it a lot and days where I barely if anything feel it - I read that it could depend a lot on how the baby is facing...since they are still so tiny.

i started feeling kicks at 18 weeks spiratically. And now at 21 weeks i feel them everyday. but its not all the time yet. Its a few times a day.
