When does morning sickness usually strike?

I think I'm about 6 weeks pregnant and feeling fine --no morning sickness. I have heard some women feel it right away and others begin around now....When did you first experience it? AND is there anyone else out there that doesn't have it?

I read somewhere that it is normal not to experience it, but on the other hand could be a sign of a pending miscarraige...Am I just being paranoid and should just enjoy it?!

Re: When does morning sickness usually strike?

Consider yourself lucky if you don't get it! My struck at 8 weeks and didn't let up till almost 14 weeks. Occasionally I still get sick and I am 22 weeks now.

You may not get it....I didn't and the more people I talk to, the more I hear of people not being sick. Consider yourself lucky if you're not!

Re: When does morning sickness usually strike?

I am now 23 weeks and only had mild nausea. Sickness has nothing to do with pregnancy viability. Chat Icon

I never threw up, but I felt queasy all the time from about 7 or 8 weeks onto about 13 or 14 weeks.

Re: When does morning sickness usually strike?

I am 6 weeks also. I have not been nauseous, just tired and hungrier than normal (and weepy). I try to keep something in my stomach, as soon as I feel hungry I have a craker, granola bar, fruit, etc. I am afraid if I let myself get too hungry then I will get sick.

Re: When does morning sickness usually strike?

Mine hit around 7 weeks, and I only had 2 episodes of it. It stopped when I figured out that I needed to eat something as soon as I got up. I get an occasional mind nausea, but totally tolerable!

Re: When does morning sickness usually strike?

Mine started about 7 weeks or so with food aversions a few days prior. It eased up around 11 weeks. I am 12 now and feeling good so hopefully this is the end.

Crossing fingers you don't get it!
