When do you start to increase the formula?
intake?
She takes 2 oz every 2-3 hrs....
Can I up it by .5?

Definitely try it....she'll let you know if its too much by spitting up...don't worry. I always increased it by .5 of an ounce.

My rule of thumb has always been to have at a minimum 1/2 ounce extra in the bottle...when they start drinking that consistantly...(more often than not) I up it again.

If they finish the bottle every time, you should increase the amount and offer them more. They may not take it every time butthat is okay. We increase by 10cc (10ml) at a time.

My SIL ped her increase my nephews formula every week by .5oz. He also eats every 4 hours like clockwork.

you should increase the formula when dc start consistently finishing her bottle for like a days worth of feedings - and then up it a half ounce.... if it is too much they will definatly let you know by spitting up..... and then you can just try a couple of days later to increase the amount!
