These threads always make me so jealous.
DD#1 - 21 months
DD#2 - Currently 10 months, and wakes up to eat at 4 am, then goes back to sleep. So a long stretch, but I don't consider 4 am morning!

ahhhhhhhh she started as a newborn at 7 weeks old, those were the days. That completely changed when she hit a little over a year. She's 2.5 and still wakes up once. I don't think me kid will ever sleep through the night.

By 2 months old my DS slept in 5-6 hours stretches
By 4 months old he slept from 6:30pm- 6:00am

great question! my ds is also 3 weeks and sleeps from 2.5 hours to 3 hours MAX and wakes up screaming for food. I'm exhausted and looking forward to even a 4 hour stretch

That's because they really weren't sleeping through the night. Their sleep patterns just changed.
My DS slept through the night right after he turned 1.

My DD went to 5-6 hour stretches around 6 weeks, but didn't sleep through the night until 8 months. She now generally sleeps 11 hours at night.
This sounds like my dd but she didn't start sleeping through the night consistently until 10 months.

I must be the luckiest mom alive, because DS has always slept at least 5 hrs at night (as many as 6 1/2) and he is only 3 weeks

Still waiting at 6 months for it to be consistent!!
We go from 8-7, to 8-12 and 4 and 7 to 8-3 and 7. Every night is different and I can not yet figure out why some nights are better than others!

 I'm confused. Why weren't they sleeping through the night??? DS slept from 7:15pm until 6:30am. How is that not sleeping through the night?

DS started sleeping through the night at 3 months old, but it was not consistent.
Now at 5 months old he pretty much sleeps from about 8 pm to 5am.

I think I got lucky - since night one ds has been sleeping 7-9 hours at night. He is 6 weeks and still at it.
