With both my pregnancies, we waited until we saw the heartbeat before we told anyone. Once we did (6.5 weeks the first time and 7.5 weeks the 2nd time), we told family, then friends, then job in that order.

This time:
Family - within the week we found out
Friends - my 3 best girlfriends were there when I POS, so they knew at the same time I did. My best guy friend - day I found out. Rest - at 12 weeks,
Work - boss - 6 weeks bc we are super close, the rest - I confirmed what people suspected at 10 weeks bc I was totally obviously pregnant by then (Im on #2)
DS#1 - I think we told everyone THAT day

We told our immeadiate families (parents siblings) within a few days of bfp. And my best friend who is like my sister. I also told 2 co-workers who I am very close with and trust bc I don't plan on telling my boss until at least 12 weeks. We haven't told anyone else yet but we'll probably wait until somewhere between 10-12 weeks.

We told immediate family (parents/sibs) within days of our first dr appt (6 weeks). I was a nervous nelly so waited til 8 weeks to tell my 2 best friends. Told rest of family at 12 weeks and told my boss around 18 weeks and co workers around 20 weeks :)

Some family and friends know, but I'm trying to hold off until 8 week sono. Work is actually the hardest. They are all questioning it already. I work in a small area with my co-workers, so its hard to get anything past them when M/S is in full force.

I told parents and sisters right away and then extended family about 8 weeks and a few close friends and at 14 weeks there are still people that do not know.
My job was told early due to dept issue (we have 3 PGs within a few months) and leave is going to be a nightmare to cover so I wanted my boss to know asap.

Mom + 2 best friends: within days of BFP
Dad and Step Dad: 6wks
Grandparents and a few more friends: 8wks
I plan on telling work after my ultrascreen as well as the rest of our friends.

With my first baby told my sister right away. Best friends and family after first sono (8 weeks) and everyone else after my 12 week sono. I did/will do the same for this baby.

family: my immediate - 5w; his brother - 6w; his mom/stepdad - 10w.
friends: anywhere from holding a still wet pee-stick  to 13w.
work: my immediate boss - 7w (i started dry heaving in a meeting); other bosses 10w. it was pretty apparent bc i was a bit ill.

Family - within the first week because it was Christmas and a perfect time to announce. Next time I will wait longer.
Friends - after I heard the heartbeat.
Work - I was outted at 10 weeks.

I told my 2 BFF's as soon as the stick turned positive. We found out Christmas Eve that I was definitely pregnant (through blood work) so we told our parents on Christmas day.
We told some of our friends on NYE because I'm a major party girl and I knew that if I wasn't drinking they would all be in the corner speculating so I decided I would rather beat them to the punch and tell them so I could benefit from their reaction. It was fun.
Then I was having progesterone issues so my OB said she did not think it would be prudent to tell people before 12 weeks when I was done with progesterone. But I have a big mouth and can't keep a secret for sh!t, so I told my immediate family around 6 weeks or so, my close co-workers around the same time and then my bosses at like 11 weeks.

My mom/His Bro - weekend of BFP (about 4 wks)
Friends - depended on relationship, most waited until 1st dr appt, turned out to be Easter when we told majority of people
Work - day after 1st dr appt. But DH and I work together and work knew we were trying.

My immediate family and BFF's - right away 4 weeks
DH's Parents- 6 weeks
Close friends and Family- 10 weeks
Bosses- 12 weeks.
Everyone else we are slowly starting to tell.

Immediate family we told right away
Extended family doesn't know yet (I'm 12 weeks)
Friends-ranges from the minute I POAS to some not knowing yet
Work-DH told his coworker friends around 7 weeks.

we told our parents when we were 9 weeks and the rest of the family and friends and our employees found out when we were 12 1/2 weeks.

I don't know what to do this time around. Last time we told our immediate family early on because we were so excited and we saw a heartbeat but then a few weeks later I miscarried. It sucked.
This time only my parents know. They knew a few days after my pregnancy was confirmed. I think after the NT Scan we'll share with DH's parents and our siblings if the baby looks okay. So 12 weeks?
Everyone else 14 weeks?
