When did you tell work?

For those mommies that work outside the home, when did you tell your company that you were pregnant?

I told my boss the day that I found out.

i was working when i got pregnant with my dd. I Worked in an office of all women. They pretty much called me out when i used to spend half the morning throwing up from morning sickness and the constant crackers and gingerale on my desk. So i told right away. There was no hiding it.

14 weeks.

I was showing at that point and people started to wonder.

When a couple coworkers called me out on it I went in and told my boss.

I was going to tell at 16 weeks, but I got a promotion at 13 or 14 weeks so I told my VP then since we were discussing my deliverables for the next year. I felt like 5+ months was more than sufficient time to put together my maternity tranistion plan and cross train any staff who were taking over my responsibilities.

I wanted to wait until at least 12 but
1. I was already showing a bit
2. I was put on a tough duty where I would be on my feet in a crowded cafeteria... doc. said no way to that so they had to change my duty assignment.

When I worked I told them as soon as I found out.

i told my boss at 8 weeks since we were moving and i wasnt able to help move everything like i normally would have been picking up everything in site -- she was great and helped me hide it from the rest of my office...

everyone else i told at 12 weeks - after we had the ultrascreen and everything came out fine!

Around 13 weeks.

I told my boss around 8 or 9 weeks. I though she suspected me as she kept making comments, she had no clue it was just a coincidence.
I told everyone else around 12 weeks.

9/10 weeks. Everyone was excited, and I just couldn't take being nauseaus at work without anyone knowing anymore.

I had 5 people to tell.

1st at 6 weeks, 2nd at 9 wks, 3 and 4th at 12 weeks and the last at 15 weeks.

16 weeks . . . I was very nervous to tell them, but it went fine.

i told my boss like a week after i found out. plus a lot of my coworkers were on to me with the fact that i love pickles and everytime i smelt one i would gag....they left me no choice!!

Due to my situation, I was taking time off every week for MD appts. So, I tolf my immediate supervisor around week 8. I told the director of my clinic at week 12.

I told them after my 1st Dr appointment. I was 9 weeks

I told my boss at 12 weeks and she sent an email to the staff...with my ok of course at 13 weeks.

14 weeks - it was getting hard to find outfits to hide my growing middle!

I told them at the beginning of my second trimester.
