DD is also 18 mos and she is starting to fight it - she sits at the table for breakfast and lunch but in the highchair for dinner (her preference!)

DD is one of those strange kids who still loves her high chair and her crib. She is almost 2 1/2 and still in both!
Same here. She can sit in a chair and does it some places, but at home it is just easier in her own space saver chair. she essentially has her own chair.

18 mths or so. she hated being locked in that thing, it was affecting her eating habits.

14 months we switched to a booster. He is 22 months and we still use it. If he sits on the regular chair he just gets up and does not eat or wants to stand on the chair so it is easier to reach his food. I find the booster puts him at the right height.

Jayden is 27 months and he still uses the highchair. When it's time to eat he climbs in and waits to be strapped in. I intend to use it until he refuses to get in or it breaks - which ever comes first.
