when did you or do you plan to stop working?

I planned on working up until she comes, but at 35w3d, I'm starting to feel like that might be unrealistic.

I worked up to the very last day Friday and then Saturday I gave birth

i am 6 days away from delivery, tomrrow is my last day (YAY!!!)

i planned to work through Friday and deliver Monday originally but I need a few days to run errands, do last minute things that are impossible to do with a toddler on the weekend.

with my son, i worked up until 39w2d and delivered at 40w2d

I am going to try and work until he comes and I thought that would be realistic until Sunday night when I actually could not walk, the pain in my hip/but cheek was so bad I had tears in my eyes trying to move. I stayed home yesterday to rest and can get around a little better today but if that ever became a constant problem I couldn't go in to work unless someone drove me in and then carried me to my desk

ETA: I am 35w1d so I'm hoping I can hang in there a while longer. I would hate to use almost 5 weeks of FMLA before the baby comes.

With both of my children I worked up until the day I gave birth. I'll do it for this baby as well.

DH and i are currently in a disagreement about this.
i plan on working until my due date...the baby comes early great...the baby comes late well then ill be out before it happens.
DH wants me to stop a week before.
as of now, our arrangement is that he will come to the weekly appt the week before my due date to see what the doctor says in terms of progress etc...then we will decide when i should stop working.

until he gets here. I am not taking a full 12 weeks maternity, so there is no way I am using any of the time I am taking before he gets here, unless of course there is a medical reason and the dr makes me stay home.

luckily i work very close to home.

I planned on stopping at week 39. Thank god she came at week 37. I was starting to feel like poo at week 36

I was a scheduled c/s for a Sunday and my last day of work was that Friday.

Sched C-section is on a Thursday. My last day of work will be the Tuesday before.

I will have one day home with DC#1 before going into the hospital to have this baby.

Worked full day on a Thursday, went into labor Friday AM at 3AM. Had her Friday around 7PM

I plan on working until the Friday before my Sunday due date. But it's getting harder and harder at 37weeks 2days. I'm trying to make it to at least the last week of Jan. due date is feb 3

With DS I worked until the afternoon I went into the hospital. I felt great my entire pregnancy. I worked in NYC and would literally RUN to catch the crosstown bus so I could catch my train. People would always just look at me. I was huge.

I only work PT now so I fully expect to work until the end. I'm only 8 weeks in though so who knows what this pregnancy will bring. So far though I have no real preg symptoms just like with DS.

Currently I work for a family friend to make some extra money while unemployed. I walk her dog twice/three times a day in Tribeca. I plan on probably working until 30 weeks but only because I am expecting to not be able to bend over and move around as much with the dog (he likes to walk for an hour and it already is hurting my back at 16 weeks).

If I were at my previous job, I would probably work until I gave birth but only because I was there for so many years my boss was kinda flexible when it came to this stuff and would let me rest when I needed to.

With #1, I worked until the day before my due date and dd was born on her due date.
I'm a teacher, so this time around I'll have almost two full months off before baby #2 comes. I'm due in August.

I worked until the end, I wanted to have as much time at home as possible with DS. Although I was miserable, If i took time before it would have counted towards my leave. DS came 4 days before his due date (my water broke the night before. Thankfully I was at home!)

I worked until the very end. I went straight to L&D on 12/31/12 after work they told me I was in early labor. I went back on 01/01/13 at 3:30 AM and had DS that day.

38w now and working until (and including) my due date unless LO comes early. I was planning on working until the day he was born, but I feel like crap recently and don't think I can do it.

With DD1, went to the doctor after a full day of work on a Wednesday at 39w 3d and was sent to be induced. Would have probably stopped working that Friday, since I commute to the city and it was getting to be tough.

I worked until 39 weeks with DD. Took my week vacation that last week more to just relax before my sleepless nights came - needless to say I ended up with siatica that week! So it worked out.

My last day was a Friday and I had a planned c section that Monday. I had her on Sunday :)
