When did you first introduce juice to your DC?
DS has a fever and we are trying to keep him hydrated. I was going to offer him some apple juice for the first time. DS is 9m old.

I guess around 9 months but she refuses it. I tried a few times and then just gave up. Ped said if she drinks the water, not to even bother with juice.

Around 9 mos to try to get him to take the sippy. I actually still regret that I didnt stick with just water...

Somewhere around his first birthday but I'm sure we could've given it to him earlier. Everything gets watered down so it's not straight juice. Give it a try. Or you can give your DS pedialite.

apple juice we started extremely early (at 2 months) to help with pooping issues.... once we started the sippy at 6 months he got very diluted apple juice....

6 months when DD was constipated. I gave her about a 1/2 ounce of prune/apple juice and 1 oz of water.
Even now it's very rare I give her any juice, even diluted. She doesn't need the extra sugar and empty calories. She gets a sippy with water at her meals.

I haven't given them juice at all yet. We started with water in the sippy around 6-7 months so they could get used to it. They drink the water, so I never bothered adding in any juice.They will be 12m this week.

The first time which was about a month ago, I tried apple juice (diluted) but he has always had water and happy with it so I decide not to give him juice at all. My DS is almost 15 months old.
