I don't know. 3.5 years after having my DS I still can't decide. I feel that if I do have another one it will be because my SO wants another. I am not opposed to the idrea I just really don't think I want to stat from the begining again.

I knew I never wanted dd to be an only child. The first 5 months were hard because dd had colic and there were times where I said I can't go through it again. I also had a rough pregnancy and was on bedrest. As soon as dd colic was gone, I started to remember how much I always wanted more than one. Trust me as your dd gets older you will miss the newborn.stage, maybe even pregnancy. Dd is 13 month and we are ttc dc2 now.

Dh and I knew we wanted at least 2. He is from a big family and I wanted one.

I was an only child and my parents passed when I was young, I felt I lost my connection to the world and yearned for a sibling. granted this is an extreme case.but I would never want my child to go thru that at 15 or 50. I am not saying having a sibiling means having a best friend, but it most def means having some connection greater than yourself....its like im giving them the option of not having to be alone I also feel parents play a big role in having the children grow up close and instilling a strong family bond....i plan to force my children to love eachother for as long as I can, hopefully it will work lol

Plus, I just really like the idea of a big family, it is def NOT for everyone tho and I can see both sides.

Before we had our first we only wanted 1. Then I got pregnant with DD and almost immediately knew that I wanted another one.

When she was a year old I started to convince DH that 2 was the right number for us. He comes from a big family and I'm an only child so we each had strong arguments against each other.. but I won in the end.

We TTC when DD was 19 months old and now we have 2 kids, 2.5 years apart and our family is complete.

Before DD I thought I would have 3 in addition to my DH's son. Then I had DD. Everything changed and I didn't think I could handle another one. When she turned 3, I then starting thinking I could do it but then life got in the way. Now that she is 5, I am realizing its now or never so I am really thinking of trying in the next few months.

I knew right away that I wanted another one. My older 2 are 20 months apart. After the 2nd, I had the itch again BAD and @ 2 and # 3 are 26 months apart.

We knew we wanted 2 kids, regardless of the genders. We just knew with our house, finances, the fact that my MIL watches our babies, etc...that 2 is the best number for our family.

Though it pains me that I will never be pregnant again...
