when did u introduce table food
at what age did you start giving your DC small pieces? and did u wait til they had teeth or no?

DS#2 has been getting table food for about a month (he's 10 months)...he has 2 bottom teeth and starting his 2 top. He gets chicken, mashed potatoes, tastes of almost everything we eat. He's not picky that's for sure!

My six month old (nearly 7 months) has been getting table food and finger food since day one of starting solids. I am doing baby led weaning and she loves it.

I tried around 7 months but he gagged on everything..8 1/2 months he started doing much better...now at 9 months can and loves to eat almost anything (he still has no teeth- he learned to chew with his gums)

DS started around 8 months with banana's. He gagged. (Bad gagger) We waited a while and tried again. He has allergies so it is hard to just give him stuff. At a little over 10 months I got more brave and he had cheerios, pasta, fruit. I give him some stuff that I am eating now. Like chicken, turkey, some veggies...

DS is 8.5 months. He's on all table food now. We started at 8 months. He's had 7 teeth since 7.5 months, he chews really well.

7 months. DD didn't have any teeth but it is the gums that do the mashing, they dont need their teeth for that.
