When DC wakes early from a nap...
What do you do? Just assume nap is over and wait for the next one. Or let them cry themselves back to sleep?
(when I say early I mean e only slept like 25 minutes).

I assume nap is over but Syd takes 2 cat naps and 1 good nap a day and they vary sometimes in order and length. If he's only taking one good nap, let him cry. From what I have read, there are those 4 cycles and sometimes they can wake up in the wrong cycle before they went through all the cycles so you're supposed to let them fall back asleep I think.

Just recently DS has done that he'll whine or cry for a little bit then plays with some toys in the crib, then fall asleep for an hour or so.

my son mostly takes cat naps during the day. He only really gets in one good nap in the late morning. I just let him sit for a while after waking to see if he'll go back to sleep, which usually does not happen.

Sometimes I can tell by his cry if its a "im not done sleeping" cry and I'll leave him in there for a few mins....but if I do take him out, I'll try over and over again to put him back in!!!

I eave her in her room for an hour- regardless of sleeping or not. Sometimes she goes back to sleep, sometimes not. When she doesn't nap well, I put her down to bed a half hour earlier that night.

i try putting the paci back in and turn the mobile back on...if she still cries (not stirs) I take her out and try the swing

I pick him up bc he cries, but he is notorious for taking naps that are too short than melting down around 5 pm

ugh...I used to hate when DD did this. usually it meant the nap was over but then id try to give the 2nd nap a little earlier than usual (and hope it lasted longer!!)

If DD naps for less than an hour (which is considered restorative) then I let her cry for about 10-15 minutes depending on the level of crying. I can tell when she's past the point of no return. Usually she would fall back to sleep.
