Best/Worst about your Job
Post what you like best about your job and what is the worst
Best: working with the children and getting to know them, proximity to home, the children's literature, nice neighborhood
Worst: some coworkers, the poor condition of the workplace, overworked at times

Best: The kids, the fact that I get paid to have fun with them, flexibility, opportunities to do things outside of my field, summers off!, holidays off!, great people.
Worst: the pay!

Best: Being creative. experimenting, friends with most of my coworkers, stability of job, lots of vacation time, and best of all... only 4 miles from home!!!
Worst: dealing with marketing people, creating miracle products on very small budgets, crappy yearly raises, politics.

Best:working w/Sonia,coworker and a great boss. I also like what I do. Time off isnt a prob
and perks of being on LIW throughout the day.
Worst:just recently, a new hiree who I dont care for and eventually may have to be stuck with! Which is worse....it may drive me t leave where I am!

BEST: Working with some GREAT kids, really nice people, SUMMER VACATION
pay is pretty good
WORST: Working with some AWFUL kids, planning lessons all night, GRADING (I hate grading!!!)

Best: great boss, travel discounts, travel deals and upgrades, wonderful coworkers, helping irate people turn into kind people.
Worst: irate callers who curse and yell at you, getting a project at 7pm and told it is due by noon the next day, having to track people down when their reservation is about to be cancelled, the politics, and seeing people get fired or quit. (my boss had to fire a fantastic booking agent today for job abandonment. And another wonderful hard working booking agent is home sick and quit to go back to her home state of Kansas)

Best- molding young minds
when you feel like you made a difference
Summer vacations and other days off
Worst- not being able to go to the bathroom
whenever you want
holidays we do have off are most $$
to go away
really difficult children and equally
difficult parents

Worst: benefits and yearly budgets (I know what's coming usually 5 months before the rest of the company does and I have to hold it in!   )

Best: benefits, regular hours, ample vacation time, interesting work where I can help others, being able to be online all day, make personal phone calls, freedom to do whatever I want for the most part so long as I get my work done.
Worst: coworkers, boss, mentality of the system

worst....dealing with difficult kids, and parents, like someone said, when you want to go away during holidays, it is most expensive.

Best: the kids, doing some important, knowing that I'm giving kids knowledge, the vacation time and the hours
Worst: the pay, being far from home, adminstration upon administration upon administration (although our Principal and AP are great), someone watches every move, and parents the kids with behavior issues
