What's going on with me? Confused!
Last month was my first month off BCP. I had my period for 6 days (no spotting beforehand).
This month I had spotting (when wiping) for 2 days, then nothing, then one more day of spotting and then my period. Period was full force for 1 day, light the second and hardly anything the third.
Do I still count CD1 as my first day of "flow. That would be the 5th day after I started spotting and that means it only lasted 3 days whereas last month it was double that.

They say your CD1 is the first day of heavy flow, bright red blood.
Sorry to be graphic, but was your spotting dark? If so, I would say CD 1 is your 1st day of full flow.
Your cycles may be strange for a few months after coming off BCP.

Thanks for the response
Yes it was pretty dark I suppose. Do you think my cycle length and ovulation day will be different this month based on this?

Your O date is not determined based on how many days your period is. Say for example if you have a perfect 28 day cycle every month, and every month you O on CD14, if you had your period for 3 days or 6 days, you will still O on CD14.
