What's everyone doing for Mother's Day?
For my first Mothers Day, we packed a picnic and went out east to a few family-friendly wineries. It was awesome!
This year I have no idea since I'll be 2 days away from my C-Section, I'm sure I'm not going to be doing much of anything. HA!

What's everyone doing for Mother's Day?
I will be spending it by myself half way around the world.
We might have brunch the weekend before I leave but that is also our wedding anniversary and my birthday so I'm not expecting much this year.

Bridgeview yacht club is having a brunch. That's where I got married and i hinted to my husband that I wanted to go, but let's see if he gets the hint lol

What's everyone doing for Mother's Day?
Going to Central Park with just DH & the kids. We are having both my parents & my inlaws over for a BBQ the day before.

One year we went to the riverhead aquarium that was really fun. I think last year we might have done nunley's carousel but I honestly can't remember. We've never been to the bronx zoo together so debating that. and plus nice restaurants or take-out. It's always about the food for me!

One year we went to the riverhead aquarium that was really fun. I think last year we might have done nunley's carousel but I honestly can't remember. We've never been to the bronx zoo together so debating that. and plus nice restaurants or take-out. It's always about the food for me!
Ohh that's a great day. Bronx Zoo and then dinner on Arthur avenue. We do that a lot.

A photographer up here is doing Mothers Day mini sessions. I told DH about it and sent him the link.
I was also hoping to do an English Tea brunch.
Hopefully he will catch the "subtle cues" but there is no guarantee.
Usually it's a surprise. 
For all I know we will end up going on a hike and have a picnic at World's End.

Imo, you can't give hints to men... They almost never get it right and you wind up disappointed. I think you should come right out and tell him and I bet it would make everyone happier in the end lol

I'm really not sure. We normally go to my grandparents house and spend the day with mom and grandma.... My grandma passed away today, so I am sure while we will do something special for my first Mother's Day, I can't imagine we will be doing anything much.

We went to the Bronx Zoo 2 years ago and it was PACKED.. just an FYI -- it took us an hour to park

I found out the Mets are playing the Phillies in Philadelphia that day. So I told DH we should go to the game, and also stop in Reading Terminal Market either before or afterward to pick up one of my favorite sandwiches ever- Roast Pork & Broccoli Rabe w/ Provolone from DiNic's. He said no because it would be too much for one day lol. Oh well... still looking for ideas myself!

What's everyone doing for Mother's Day?
We have gone to Belmont Race Track the past couple of years. Brought some drinks and a picnic. The kids love seeing the horses. Hopefully the weather is good this year :)

So I told DH we should go to the game, and also stop in Reading Terminal Market either before or afterward to pick up one of my favorite sandwiches ever- Roast Pork & Broccoli Rabe w/ Provolone from DiNic's. He said no because it would be too much for one day lol. Oh well... still looking for ideas myself!
Omg please bring me back donuts from reading terminal!!!!!!
