Definitely lots of visitors! It was hard to enjoy visitors with Christopher, because everybody was really down (DH's grandfather passed away the morning after Christopher was born), so I'm hoping it's much more upbeat this time.

ahhhh I remember that when sammy was born I wanted visitors until I had about 15 people at 1 time. I was miserable and tired. WHen Sara was born I just wanted Sammy. I didnt care if I had people visit other than my parents and my DH and my son.

My husband bought me a BIG bottle of frozen water (yes, I know, in the English language we call that ice) everyday in the hospiital and I had iced water all day (I love really cold water...)
Also, my mom brought me home made food everyday because the slop that we get in British Hospitals is really dire...for example, a meal might be Cottage Pie (ie ground beef in gravy with mashed potato on top) peas, carrots (right from the freezer) and for dessert, a steamed pudding with jam and custard...can't get any blander or more British than that!!!

Definitly visitors. I was only in for 2 days. The first day we had so many people and then the second way we were waiting and I felt like a looser becaue their was nobody in our room, but half hour later we were full again . I would also agree on someone blowing out my hair. I did it myself the day I was in labor and even though my hair is short and doesnt take a while it is hard when you have a big belly and having contractions.

I would love lots of people visiting. When my best friend had her son, she gave birth in a hospital where her sister is a head training nurse. They somehow managed to let 25 (yes, I can name them all) people into the room at once and no one blinked an eye. A nurse came in looking for my friend's sister and when she wasn't in there, the nurse just left and didn't say a thing.
I felt like having so many people who cared was beautiful and I instantly wished for the same for me.
Sadly I know that DH's parents and my bro and SIL won't be there (they live out of country and out of state) and our best man may or may not be able to get here from PA fast enough.
Maybe a more realistic thing would be a blow out. ONe of my mom's good friends is my hairdresser and I am sure I could convince her to come and visit AND do my hair.

Well I have to say I would love to see certain people my small and close family(mable03 and other family members that I really care about) but I really dont like alot of visitors, I am more concerned about my little guy Joseph.
When I come home it is a different story I would love alot of visitors as long as they have wine with them

I would love to get visitors! All of our family lives out of state and they don't make us a priority so no one will probaby be coming to see the baby. I know having too many visitors can be annoying, but I would like a few people to make a big stink about the baby! ith Caiden I was really disappointed because no one seemed to care!

my SIL told me she really wanted some decent shower products from Bath and Body Works. Like a travel set or something so when you finally get to shower, it feels really good and special and not just random crap the hospital gives you.
