If your doctor says not to go then I would stay close to home. I was three weeks early with DS and I had no signs of any dialation/labor or anything....
You should listen your doctor. What if you go into labor, I think that would be very worrisome for everyone at the wedding.

I live in Orange County and my family is on Long Island...so my concern was going to visit them..but the doctor had no concern about me traveling within that distance...she just said that I would probably have to deliver wherever I am.
