The expletives came out of my mouth faster than my slowest connection speed when I read this. 
My slowest maximum was 14.4

2400- I had a Tandy computer that didn't even come with a modem. It was purchased separately and it came with Prodigy, so I signed up for that. I was also on AOL almost from the beginning and various local bbs's. I still have my original AOL email although I rarely use it anymore. When I went to college and they had such fast internet, I was in heaven!

I don't remember but I didn't have my own computer & internet connection until 2000 (and it was free Juno dial up) but my office in 1998 had dial up--and there were only 2 lines ( for 15 people)--so if you needed to look something up, you had to wait for someone else to get off. I was so much more productive back then!
