What to expect when expecting
Is that book worth it, or are there other books that are more informative....
I know belly laughs is a fun read, but wanted a fun and an educational read as I have no clue what is normal and what is not

When I was prego with DD, that book came in handy! I would definitly reccommend it.

I honestly hated that book! There was just way too much stuff in it and 90% of it didn't apply to me anyway. So i stopped reading it. I wasn't a fan.

I agree!!! My SIL gave me both when I got prego and I read the week by week 100% more.

i agree!! i was not a fan of what to expect when expecting.. it honestly is a little scary.. my doc even told me to stay away from it..lol

I know a lot of people say that it is too informative or too medically worded, but I am genuinely enjoying reading it. I'd say, go to a bookstore and flip through a bunch of books. You'll get an idea of what types of books you'll like.

This book is OK -- but there is a lot of bad information in it. The breastfeeding stuff is terrible. If you want to breastfeed find another resource.

I thought the book was a waste of money.
I like the emails you get from websites like Baby Center and Pregnancy Week by Week better.
Oddly enough, the What to Expect website is not too bad.

I prefer the Your Pregnancy Week to Week book. Many girls here recommended it over the WTE book. I got it at Barnes and Noble. Congrats again on your BFP sweetie!!
