What to do before open house...?!?!
Good morning! I CAN NOT tell you all how much I appreciate your posts to my original post. I checked your replies and read and re-read them morning, noon and night. I got VERY little sleep over the past week. My husband and I enlisted the help of my mom, dad and step mother. We boxed stuff up, got rid of stuff, donated stuff, cleaned the house from top to bottom. We had the open house this Sunday. Over 25 groups of people came and we already have 2 offers! I'm so thankful to you for responding and keeping me motivated to keep pushing. We'll see what comes of these offers, but all I know is, the house is ready! My realtors jaw dropped when he came in. What an amazing feeling!!! Thank you!! xo

Amazing! I was hoping you were going to update us! Good luck on the sale of your house. Having just been through the process, all the stress is totally worth it

Thank you! It's so good to hear that from people who have just been through it. Sometimes I look at my husband and I say..."Why are we doing this to ourselves...??" But then I think about my kids and I know why. Now...we have to find a house!! LOL Thank you again.

Congratulations on a successful open house, and on getting some offers! It does feel great to tackle a huge job, and now you will have less work for your actual move.
Moving is never easy - and real estate transactions can be stressful - but I see a lot of people through them, and everyone always says that they are happy they made the move once they come out the other side!

I totally understand. I had to walk out of my house a few times bc the packing up of a pod, and seeing my house in shambles was too overwhelming. I couldn't wait for that closing! I too questioned why the hell am I doing this and how will it all get accomplished, but life has a funny way of working itself out I wish you lots of luck in your home search.
