What nicknames do you have for your baby?
DH nicknamed the baby "champ." He has a totally geeky but lovable fascination with the lake champlain monster (America's Loch Ness - he keeps telling me)

My sister calls her baby "Bug". I think that is so cute! "Hi bug! Are you my little bug?" she says. I gotta laugh.

Little Pooka - Because my DH is "Pooka" so i just named the baby after his nickname.

Lately I call him "Squirmy".
Usually it's just "kid".
But we also call him Oscar. Don't know why we started that.

We mostly referred to him as "baby" and DH often calls him "my son". When he settles all on one side of me, to the point where my belly looks unever, I call him "lumpy". We're not very creative.

I have 2 names but they are both related to the fact that my pregnancy is so new.......
The day I found out I was pregnant, I looked at a website that had a day by day description. For that day (approx 4 weeks) it said that the baby is the size of the head of the head of a pin. I started to call the baby "pinhead."
I was amazed that this little thing the size of a pinhead already has a determined gender. Then I started to refer to the baby as the little collection of cells.

Actually, today I was saying this baby is So low. So then i thought to myself why not call it Solo. My hubby doesnt seem to found of the name...i thought it was pretty funny.
