What is your IT present for your child?
..this holiday season and how old are your kids?
I am desperate trying to find something for my kids - 6 and 9...I have a few things for them but nothing exciting...I feel like I need something to wow them and it doesnt have to be $$$ just something that we have not thought of.

For my DS (2.5 yrs old) we got him a collapsible ball pit that he's going to freak out over. And because he loves to play doctor with his stuffed animals, we him Stuffy's Vet Check Up Center based on the Doc McStuffins cartoon.
For my DD (7 yrs old) her big gift is an American Girl Doll with accessories that she's been begging (and saving her $$) for. Also, my friend crocheted her this beautiful mermaid tail blanket in some of her favorite colors. It's stunning. That will be a very special gift for her too............and a total surprise.

How about giving them an experience over just a toy? Like a membership to the children's museum, my kids got that last year and LOVED it. Plus it's reciprocal so you can use your membership and benefits at museums all over the country. Or maybe season passes to a theme park? Or plan a fun weekend getaway. Tickets to a Broadway show. A day trip like a day in the city hitting up all fun kid spots and a fun lunch. I think those types of things go over so well, my kids LOVE that kind of stuff.

What is your IT present for your child?
We do Hanukkah and I don't have kids but my niece is 8 and her big gift was an iPad mini (Walmart had a special) my other niece is 5 and her big gift was an American Girl doll and my nephew an Xbox one

For Chanukah their biggest hits were a Mario Kart race track for DS 5. And new sneakers for DS 9. For Christmas I think it will be the TV for their bedroom.

Two large lego sets were our big gift.
My bil gave them a shared gift of a bb8 that they are loving right now.
Their grandparents gave them tickets to radio city.
My kids are 6 and 8. They have an old laptop that they share already.

5 year old girl- frozen ice castle with 9 princesses. DIsney had a deal for $10 a princess during black friday and we also got Prince Eric and The Beast
4 year old boy- FDNY ambulance and fire truck to match his police car.
21 month old boy- the vtech sports center

I-Pad Mini 2 for my son, he is 2.5 years old.
After trying to find a Leap or other kind of learning tablet for him that I felt was on his level, I just said enough and got the I-Pad Mini with a VERY good case so if he drops it, it is OK. He is so smart - it blows me and his preschool teachers away - that I had to get him something where I can DL learning apps and also be able to get new, challenging, and exciting educational things on there - OFTEN. He is the type that learns at such a pace, absorbs and wants more more more. So, I figured this was a good thing for him. Knowing him, he will be THRILLED.
He loves learning. A punishment for him would be to take his learning books away

My DD is 5 and her big gift is a Kidkraft dollhouse. My boys are 3 and 5 and their big gift is a big train table. Then I got the boys each big Imaginext sets and DD the 7 pack of Barbie princess dolls from target as well because I got some sick deals on them. Those are there big gifts.

This year My 5 1/2 year old is getting a Wii U that came with Mario Kart. She loves Mario Kart!
My 2 year old don't really have a big gift this year. She is getting tons of Peppa pig stuff since she is really into that! All she asked for was shopkins and lollipops. haha!

What is your IT present for your child?
The biggest gift that my 9 year old will flip over is a silly barbie that has her hair in a bun. She has been emailing pictures of this specific doll for months to forward to Santa (lol), and put it on her list 5 times.
The "large" gifts that she will be getting are an American Girl Doll and Bed and the Barbie Cruise Ship and I just bought a 4 foot stuffed squishy bear from Home Goods for $20 that she will love!

my DD will be getting a big wooden dollhouse for her barbies, the doc mcstuffin pet vet (she gave away the original checkup center so santa can bring her this one) and maybe (we haven't decided if we def. keeping it) a power wheels quad she will freak out over all of this but the Barbie house is def. her top choice along with the rock and roll Barbie dolls
DS will be getting a home depot tool workshop, some big Imaginext remote car, and maybe a power wheel type of bulldozer. he honestly probably wont freak out about any of that well maybe the power wheels if we keep it he is only 2 and would probably be happy with a empty box!!! he will probably be most happy with maybe that new big chase dog or a silly willie mickey we got him
their combo gifts is Peppa pig house, school, bus and camper and they will both freak out over that.

Oh I know! I told DD that it cost $100. She said, well Santa makes all the toys so it won't cost him that. 
But then I got it on a deal from Target. They had it on sale, then a 20% off toy coupon, then that week was a good ebates % back. And I have the red card so 5% off as well.
I think I got it for like $70
But to this day DD see's commercials for it and goes, that cost A HUNDRED DOLLARS!!!

OMG that Barbie horse was on her list too- but I had my mom get it.
That thing freaks me out- Barbie mounts the horse by herself...swings her leg over and gets on- .so freaking strange!
