What is wrong with people!??
OMG i'm so done w/ people!!
This woman I work with, who is normally pretty quiet, is walking past me and she's looking at my stomach and goes "are you SURE they got those dates right???" So I'm like "what are u talking about" so shes goes, "you're pretty big." I'm like "excuse me? I'm almost 7 months pregnant and you are the ONLY person that has said ANYTHING like that to me. As a matter of fact, everyone keeps telling me how small I look"
so she goes "ooh ..aah..i keep forgetting how close dec is...and the clothes these days are so much different..."
Really LADY!???

A few weeks ago this 65 year old man here (who has a bigger stomach than I do lol) says to me, "I've been seeing you around and you are getting big.....and I know you're not going to want to hear this, but your body physically is never going to be the same as it was before." I'm like "ok thanks..cuz you went through this right?" Why do people think it's ok to make remarks? I would NEVEr say anything like that to anyone!!!

I'm a little over 13 weeks. I came out at work at around 11 weeks. Everyone was so nice except that when one woman heard about it she said "I thought so, she's looking wide and like she is wearing maternity clothes". Ummm, by that time I had gained only 2 lbs and was wearing a size 0/2 in REGULAR CLOTHES, hadn't even bought a single maternity item. WTF?????

Ugh I feel your pain!! I HATE when people say "you're getting big" I don't think they even realize how insensitve they're being! When I came in the other morning; my co-worker who is the sweetest person; said "you're getting big!" in an excited way; but I was like-um not big; just showing more! I went to the dentist and they hadn't seen me in 4 weeks between appointments and the receptionist kept saying she got so big; aww she got so big. Again; very excited; but just the WRONG phrase to use!

Someone told me to respond that way because I was kind of upset when I got a comment like that from a co-worker.

Ughhhh I hate when people do that!!! Like its okay to tell someone they are big just because they are pregnant. I've heard from more than one person how I'm carrying big or how I'm having twins. People have no class.

Uhhh people!!!!
I had a girl I work with (who has a 7 year old so wasn't pregnant that long ago) say to me a few weeks ago "how you feeling with all the weight you are gaining". Ummm I was like 13 weeks had a small bump and had gained 1lb. I couldn't control myself and said ... I'm doing just fine carrying around my extra one pound but thanks for asking!
