We both work full time but my DH has an hour commute that is horrible each way so I take pity on him. I commute 10 minutes. We also live in my old condo so I had a cleaning routine already down. The house would be a mess if I left it to DH. But we both now agree its not fair that I do all the cleaning, cooking and grocery shopping. He occasionally does the laundry. So now we are getting a maid- problem solved.

NO!!! Although I like to watch it, I couldn't put my family especially my kids through that... plus, I don't have a problem with my situation, my DH understands that I do ALOT!

i'd say we're about 50/50.
though- with being overwhelmed with school somtimes, i get annoyed eventhough its split in half.
he does the cooking, i do the dishes. we go grocery shopping together, but many times he'll go solo (but we usually have a half hour debate before this happens  ). He straightens up, and i *clean* (i do all the scrubbing stuff, vaccuuming, etc) he does all the organizing, takes out the garbage & recyclables. we split the bills.
and we drop the laundry off- together.
who knows what it'll be like when we have kisd though. He wants to be a SAHD and I want to be a SAHM- so we have a little problem there
