Re: What Infant Tub does everyone have?

Which one do you have?
I had one that was ok for awhile.. and then it started leaking and it all went downhill from there.
After that we got the Euro bath and LOVED IT. used that until he was big enough to not need a kids tub anymore.

Re: What Infant Tub does everyone have?

Obviously I haven't used mine yet...but I registered for the EuroBath...based on reviews on BRU and the Baby Bargains book.

Re: What Infant Tub does everyone have?

That's the one I had registered for also, at first, because I thought it was so cool that it had a "shower." But then I read the reviews and everyone said the shower was all screwy, so I changed it and now I'm registered for the Sure Comfort Deluxe Newborn-to-Toddler Tub
by The First Years, which seems pretty basic but the reviews are good. I think sometimes basic is better.

Good thing you changed it- it s ucks. The shower is so loud it scares my daughter. It is not strong and the angle that the sling goes into the tub is soooooooooooo steep she just slides and it's so hard when she is wet and wiggley to hold her up. I LOVE the sling and it was great in the sink but the area on the plastic tub where the sling fits into is just too steep IMO. Well that was a waste of money. I should have read the reviews but my friend loved it (why I don't know) and I thought the shower was cool I think I will be back at BRU tomorrow looking for a new one.

I got the same one as Melbernai.

I'm really happy with it. I love the little hammock sling thingy because it holds the baby so he feels secure. He's so cute - he likes to dangle one foot out in the water.

I also read the reviews on the one with the shower and they didn't sound too good that's why I got this one.

I posted a pic of the baby in it so you can see the sling.

Re: What Infant Tub does everyone have?

Another thing that I heard about the First Years tub (the blue one) that I'm registered for now that I liked is that the part that the baby doesn't sit in acts kinda like a basin of water, so you have water to rinse the baby off with.

And I loved the idea of the shower, thought it would be soothing, but just ended up getting a really basic colander type of bath toy cup, with holes on the bottom, like a beach/sand toy almost, and I'll give my baby "showers" with that if I find that it likes them!

Re: What Infant Tub does everyone have?

I have the same one as babyavocado, but Logan outgrew it and we had to purchase a bigger one. Now we have the Euro-bath, which supposidly I can use until he is 2 years old?? Its really big, but its good for us because right now we only have a stand up shower.

I have this one and I love it. You can put the sling in different positions. The position I use it in isn't too steep at all. Also, the shower works fine for me. It doesn't scare Christopher at all. Every baby's different though.

Well I don't think you are going to be using it till he was 2. By the time Anthony was 2 he was sitting all along in the regular bathtub
But we did use it until he got to that point and he always fit comfortably.

I have the same one Sandra has.... The hammock thing is great, especially when he was smaller and it fits perfectly over the sink.

We have the Safety 1st Fold up tub!

It rocks it looks like the one Steph has but both sides can fold in for easy storage (I keep it under my sink) and it fits in my kitchen sink so I can just use by sprayer as a shower attachment.

I've been using the "Safer Bather" from birth through five months in the kitchen sink. Here is a picture of it from Amazon:

I've got the Eurobath for when she is too big for the kitchen sink (which is very soon!)

I used this too - I loved it because it was not hard plastic.

Ok the Euro bath, Alli Logan already outgrew it? D is 15 pounds and 26 inches already Chat Icon at 4 months- she's a big girl. So, should I not get the Eurobath then?

I am glad Christopher loves the shower thing. I really wish D did! I tried the other position and it was too flat for her. She was too close to the water and hated it. It's just not for her.

Yes, now I put the sling over the top of the bath and he is able to sit a little better, although he is super active so that may be part of the problem

I have the same blue tub that everyone else has. I put it in my bathtub when I give Jared a bath because he likes to splash around.
