What have you "discovered" lately?
What have you "discovered" lately?
A restaurant, take out place, grocery item, etc.?
It might not necessarily be new, just new to you.
I am loving The Yogurt Place on Merrick Road in Bellmore where they charge you by weight and the yogurt tastes like ice cream.
I also had Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Therapy for the first time recently - OMG!
I also just had Diet Snapple Papaya Mango iced tea - yum (and I think this really is new.)

We went to Moo La La in Merrick the other day, loved it. Another self-serve place.
I also just bought a Zoku ice pop maker on sale at the Williams Sonoma outlet and while I haven't tried it yet, I am very excited!
Oh and John's Farms has chicken breasts for $1.69 each and thin cut for $1.99. We bought enough for 25 dinners!

I LOVE that yogurt place! The red velvet is soooo good! And the Ben and Jerry's is just to die for!!! My friend from work used to bring it in for me when I was preggo!!!

Passionfruit juice.. fabulous in sangria and champagne punch! And it isn't too bad on it's own either!
Rediscovered balachaung which is SOOOO good with coconut rice.

Try the passionfruit juice with Bacardi Torched Cherry Rum, on the rocks. We 'discovered' that at the Bacardi Factory in Puerto Rico. It is so good and not overly sweet.

La Bottega in Howard Beach - they opened a few months ago and there I got to have SPECK which I have never had in the US (its a coldcut, like prosiutto) and amazing gelato.
