Kids usually call me by my first name, or one of my kids names "mom" lol.

My kids call adults Ms. or Mr. First name unless they introduce themselves with a last name, then they are to respect that. I'm really not a big fan of kids calling me by my first name, but I would never correct someone else's kid.

All 3. It is an even spread between my name, Mrs. X and B's Mom.

My friend's kids call me by my name because my friends call me by my name.

Kids' friends often call me B's Mom.

Classmate friends call me Mrs. X because the teacher calls me Mrs. X and the class also calls me Mrs. X.

X's mom but as he gets older, I would like It to be my name not Mrs.

No one calls me Mrs. XXXX
How awkward that would be. I know I'm older than the average mom of her group but I ain't THAT old.

Since most of her friends are Girl Scouts in our troop, I'm just Ms Veronica. Other kids hear that and so they've followed suit.

The parents (including me) set the standard, even I say "Listen to Ms Denise" or "Ok, Maddie's mama Ms Anna is in charge."

I hear them say to their girls the same about me "Ms Veronica"

At this stage I think most of the kids know me as "Ryan's mommy". As the kids get older I would prefer if they just call me by my first name. I feel like Mrs. is too formal for me.

When DS is old enough, I want his friends to call me by my first name. I think Mrs. X is too formal. Plus, I get called that all day at work.

Eta: I always called my friend's parents by their first names. My DH's parents were always called Mr and Mrs X and to me it was so strange to call them that when I met them when I was 20.

School friends call me Mrs xxx...kids of friends call me either by my first name or Mrs xxx...it depends on my friends - if they are sticklers for the Mrs xxx then their kids call me that..my less formal friends tell their kids to call me by my first name - I am fine with either.

I plan on having dd call adults either ms/mr first name or mrs/mr last name unless were close in which case it will be aunt or uncle. I'll introduce myself as the same

To me, it's a form of respect. That being said, I'm a teacher, so I'm called mrs so and so every day by people both younger and older than me

I was saying that I would rather be called by my first name and a friend of mine said she would NEVER allow a child to not call her Mrs. XXX......just wanted to see what the norm was

ETA: at this point I'm good friends with most of his friends' moms. As he starts K next year and meets many people I don't know, I'm sure it will be more Mrs. X or XX's mom
