What do you think of this for Christmas?

I know Marron loves these little cars at daycare and at other people's houses, so I was thinking of getting one for her. But considering that she probably won't get to use it much in the winter, do you think it is a waste? Should I wait until her birthday, in April to get it?

I say wait til her birthday. She will drive you crazy to play with it in the house..this way if you wait til April she can pretty much use it right away.

I didn't mean that it is bad to play with it in the house...Catherine doesn't have the room in her living room for Marron to play with it.

Love it, my mom has one at her house for the grandkids and they all love it.

ETA: My mom has a big house with wood floors so its easy for them to play with it in the house/or outside.

Katherine got that for Christmas last year and we had it in the house for a bit, but it took up a lot of room. Otherwise, she didn't use it until the spring.

I'm getting a ride on for my DD for Christmas because he birthday is 2 days after. I think it's very cute. I'm getting her this one because it has a pole that comes off and there is a little door on the bottom so you can take it out once she walks.
I just thought I would get more use out of it.

Thanks everybody for your replies. I'm going to wait until April to get it. Maybe by then she'll be able to do it by herself, too. Otherwise I will consider that one with the handle on the back. I've seen it in pink as well.

Re: What do you think of this for Christmas?

We kept it in the house last winter. But, don't ask me, we let her ride her tricycle in the house too..

But seriously, it is all plastic, it won't damage wood floors or even tile. I say go for it!
