i know that the multi-symptom cold meds are a no-no but i think straight nasal decongestants are ok. i have stuck to saline nasal spray and netti pot though...

This prob won't help you but all I take is claritin in the am. I have also closed the bedroom window (bc im allergic to tree pollen and other stuff) and keep a cool mist humidifier on in the room.

I take Tylenol for any and all pain when I'm preggo  I know it's safe, and even if it helps a little, it's good with me!

I load up on regular mucinex which helps break up the mucus.
You can take the regular red sudafed also.
Otherwise the only safe antibiotics are amox and zpak.
