to kill time; to socialize without having to worry about geting dressed up or fixing my appearance to do it  I've become quite the homebody, so it fits my needs
i just like to BS-- i dont really ask fo advice too often, and ive never really started a thread just to Vent, but when someone else is venting, i can totally relate,,,, and actually, i do use it for information (like what the general opinion of certain movies or rentals were; peoples experiences w/ stores; good recipes that people have tried out-- i pass those on to the DH though )

I come here to get advice and learn some stuff.
Its really refreshing to see that some of the stuff people post about is stuff that applies to my life or people around me.
Most of us got married around
the same time so its nice to know what so many of us are going to are issues or items that affect so many of us.
I also LOVE the celebrity gossip/ & pics
ETA_ you are all better then the Associated Press- I found out a lot of stuff here before its all over the media
