Dr. Hook.....I had never heard of them before him, I love em now, even though they are no too well known. We used a Dr. Hook song for our wedding song and went to see them in concert a few years ago in PA.

I used to listen to them in high school... Johnny Marr of the Smiths played with them so that's how I found out about them. I'm a big Smiths fan.

lol he hasn't really intro'd me to anything
but i have opened his eyes to some great music... he never listened to or knew of johnny cash before he met me and now he LOVES him and listens to him 24/7.
same thing w/ a lot of other artists-- even the beatles and the doors, bryan adams, james taylor, etc. he was kinda sheltered, i guess? lol
my ex actually made me into a huge aerosmith fan-- i always knew of them but never really listened to them a lot but during the three+ years we dated he took me to tons of their concerts and after we broke up i realized that i really learned to love the band and now i listen to them all the time.

Too many to name...he is a big muso. In general, as a genre, he introduced me to seventies power pop, recently Apples in Stereo, Cherry Ghost, Midlake, The Go! Team...we talk about and listen to music a lot.
