My history:
endomitriosis (diagnosed in 1996)
m/c in 2007
healthy in 2008
Began TTC for #2 in Feb 2010
m/c in August 2010

My OB doesn't think I O every month and due to my m/c and endo, she has referred me to a specialist. We started TTCing for #2 last Feb and had a m/c in August. I think I may have O'd this month but will be too few DPO by my 1st fertility specialist appt on Friday for them to tell if I'm preggo.

Female Issues: PCOS, possible egg quality and uterine lining issues

Male Issues: None.

March 2010: IUI # 1 with injectables- BFN

April 2010: IUI #2 with injectables- BFN

May 2010: IUI #3 with injectables- BFP!!

August 2010: Lost the baby at 17.5 wks

October 2010: IUI #1 with injectables- BFN

November 2010: IUI #2 with injectables- BFN

December 2010: (forced month off on birth control pills because of cysts)

January 2010: 3rd IUI cycle, IUIs not scheduled yet

Concieved and gave birth to a boy, no problems.

Female: No known issues
Male: borderline low sperm count

trying since September 2009

IUI in November 2010: BFN

Husband began clomid in November 2010. Will see if it helped in February. He goes back for another SA.

Trying naturally and hoping for the best. Currently in the 2ww

my issues and history are with m/c more than IF:

july 2009 BFP/lost the baby at 12 weeks in september 09

july 2010 BFP/ended up being ectopic, lost my right tube in an emergency surgery (which was better than losing my life!)

november 2010 BFP/chemical pregnancy, low beta and decreased rapidly until i got AF

december 2010 decided enough was enough and finally saw an RE.

currently undergoing immune testing. so far it has been discovered that i have PCOS and started taking metformin. i also have a copy of MTHFR but we haven't discussed protocol for that yet.

Female Issues: endometriosis and tubal factor (blocked tube, recurrent ectopic pregnancies).

Male Issues: None.

TTC on our own from July 2008 to September 2009

IUIs from September 2009 to May 2010. One pregnancy - ectopic and lost left tube.

July 2010 - fresh IVF cycle and BFN

Oct 2010 - frozen IVF cycle, 2nd ectopic

Feb 2011 - frozen IVF cycle. third time's a charm???

Me: PCOS, MFTHR, possibly immune issues
DH: eh.. not clear... first tests showed low motility and morphology, on the day of IUI, all was good. Unilateral varicocele.

Feb 10- Sept 10 - trying on our own, annov cycles.
Sept 2010- provera to bring on AF
Oct - clomid 50 mg +timed BD - BFN
Nov - clomid 100 mg+IUI - BFP! At 7 weeks, MC ( preg might have been ectopic, no proof)
Dec- MC.

Now- still waiting for beta to reach 0, spotting to stop. Doing immune testing.

Male Issues: CBAVD - no vas deferens

July 2010 - Began seeing RE

August 2010 - Femara - Timed Intercourse (Before we knew about he CBAVD) - A now obvious BFN

October 2010 - 1st IVF cycle - BFN - no frosties

January 2011 - 2nd IVF cycle - Bypassing fresh transfer - FET should be in February

Female issues: PCOS, Elevated NK Cells, PAI-1 4G/5G Polymorphism (blood clotting issue)

Male Issues: Borderline Low Morphology

Combined Issue: Partial HLA-C Match

Cycle History:

May 2009 - went off BCP after 12 years (normal cycles prior to BCP)

July 2009 - no AF, provera

August 2009 - first O cycle off BCP - BFN

October 2009 - no AF since August, provera

November 2009 - clomid, no response, provera

December 2009 - follistim & femara injectable cycle, timed intercourse - hyperstim - cycle cancelled

January 2010 - BCP cycle following hyperstim

Feb 2010 - follistim & femara injectable cycle, timed intercourse- no HPT BFP but chemical pregnancy from beta results

March 2010 - time off for new job, started metformin for natural cycle - late O - BFN

May 2010 - follistim & femara injectable cycle, timed intercourse - BFP - chemical pregnany - m/c 5w2d

July 2010 - follistim & ganirelix injectable cycle, timed intercourse - BFN

August 2010 - follistim & ganirelix injectable cycle, timed intercourse - BFN

October 2010 - IVF - BFP!! Now 14w5d pregnant!!

there were A LOT more meds in many of these cycles but for ease of reading I kept it simple... most of the girls here have read my history a million times anyway

Unexplained IF (we both tested great. According to Dr. we should've had a baby by now).

APR 2010 INJECTABLES IUI #4 - first BFP ever!!!!

JUN 2010 Baby's hb stopped at 10 wks. Missed miscarriage. D&C results=triploidy (RE says while this sucks, m/c is very common and still believes we will get our take home baby).

SEP 2010 INJECTABLES IUI #5 - BFN

NOV 2010 INJECTABLES IUI #6 - BFFN

JAN 2011 INJECTABLES IUI #7 - IUI set for this weekend. This will be our last iui before moving onto IVF. I am hoping, wishing, and praying this it for us!

IUI # 2 (Back to Back)-Clomid (50mg) Days 5-9=Unsuccessful

IUI # 3 Clomid (50mg) Days 3-5 = Ended in m/c

Took some time off and now back in business with a new RE.

Plan:
Feb 2011-IUI w/ Femura and Gonal F Injections.

Tried to conceive the old-fashioned way (I can't even believe that such a thing exists anymore ) from June 2008 to February 2010....was in denial

March to July 2010 - 3 IUIs
1st IUI - Femara
2nd IUI - Injectables (Follistim)
3rd IUI - Injectables (Follistim, Luveris, Ganirelix)

August - September 2010 - IVF
Many, many meds with high doses
Long Lupron Protocol w/Estrogen Primming
(Follistim, Menopur, Lupron, Ganirelix, Delestrogen....blah, blah, blah, you name it I took it) Bummer

Next anticipated IVF will start around the end of February 2011

Winter 2009- started actively TTC
Summer 2010- Began seeing RE

I am new to this board Here is mine:

Female: currently seeing an RE on Saturday so hoping to get some answers.

Male: Low end of normal sperm count, everything else normal. High PH level (currently taking antibiotics to see if it helps). He has had 3 SA done.

Began actively trying to TTC #1 last year. Got pregnant first try only to MC at 8 weeks.

Been trying since and nothing

Currently stressed out.

Oct 2010: IUI #1: 50 clomid unsuccessful
Nov 2010: IUI #2: 50 Clomid unsuccessful
Dec 2010: IUI #3: 50 clomid unsuccessful
Jan 2011: in the middle of 4th and final IUI Cycle 100 Clomid waiting to Ovulate.
Looking to move to IVF if this one isn't successful.

DH: Just peachy!

VERY LONG HISTORY, but to sum it up

10 medicated IUI's all BFN

2 failed IVF cycles (Only one made it to transfer)

Ovarian drilling surgery followed by 2 medicated IUI's. Finally a BFP (first one ever)!!

Between TTC on our own and with an RE, took 4.5 years! Oh and I was 36 when we finally conceived.
