What am I teaching this kid?
I have no idea what I am saying around this kid. Here is a sample of what he is saying:
(Word: Him)
Cookie: C o c k- c o c k
Cake: C o c k
Duck (Which used to be 'duck' is now, you guessed it): C o c k
I knew it was on my mind a lot, but geesh, I better watch what I say around him

Gracie's now saying "SIT" to everyone & it sounds a heck of a lot like something else.

I have a quick VERY funny unbelievable story for this.....
When my DS was around 18 month'ish, we were looking to get a video surveillance system for security reasons...
Anyhow, we saw one in the newspaper used, for a good price...DH calls, gets directions and we go...Long story short, we get to the address , its on an offbeat kind of spot in the road and its an "adult store" ( I kid you not, the lady did not tell my DH this !!!)
So we have DS with us , now we are and we go in ( yes with my DS) ...The neighborhood was not the best, and I was a little apprehensive to stay in the car alone and since we were all the way there, we went in together..
We are asking the lady some super quick questions about it ( the store was going out of business) and the whole time my DS is pointing above us at - yes you guessed it a clock...
And over and over again....guess what he was saying...."big clock ( except pronouncing it quite like your DS )
This story is even in his babybook - Seriously one of the funniest stories to date with him- We had tears in our eyes!!!
So your post just put the biggest smile on my face, I haven't thought about it in a long time !!!!

Did you end up buying the security system?
Yes ! And when we finally went to hook the darn thing up, we realized they never gave us the adapter for the moniter and they already closed down  So its sitting in the box !
But the story itself made the whole thing worth it
