What a strange cycle...(Long)
This has to be the strangest month we've had TTC.
I was starting OPK's this month. I started testing on CD10 (my cycles have yet to be consistent since coming off BCP 6 months ago)
After testing for 12 days and not getting a + I got frustrated beyond belief. I was an emotional mess (see my other posts from that day!)
For 3 days I was having a pity party for myself and it finally came to a head Weds. night. What made it happen? Going to the mall and stopping in the pet store to see the puppies. Usually it's a great thing and cheers me up. I wanted to cry right there in the store.
I came home and cried my eyes out for 2 hours and felt so much better. DH and I spoke about some things and I feel like I'm renewed on TTC.
We're on the same page and we're going to keep trying. I have no idea where I am this cycle (I know what cycle day but I have a feeling it's going to be a long one). I stopped the OPK's for now and I put my calendar away. What will be will be and October is another month.

And to all of you out there thank you for all of the support. I don't know what I would do without this board!

i am so happy that you have come to a 'happy place' with the whole long cycle of it all...
it seems like you & dh have a great relationship and that you were able to get to that place with his help!!!

I think DH still thinks I'm a hormonal psycho but he got me through it 
(he really is the best though!)

Having a supportive DH is half the battle when it comes to TTC!
And it's so great that you're at a place where you can just let whatever happens happen. That's an amazing thing!

TTC is such a roller coaster ride and your post describes that completely. I am happy for you that you are now at a place where you feel at peace with the process. Maybe that's what you need to get your BFP!
