we're BORING??????
what do you and DH do for fun????? My DH thinks we are boring b/c we don't do much.... on the weekends we work on the house- garden, paint, go food shopping, clean up etc... and he thinks that everyone else leads these faboulous lives... I told him that there isn't a "secret" club that we're not invied to and that everyone else does the same things we do.... what do you do?

Then count us as a bore too  We are always doing things around the house  The only change is summertime we like to spend time on our boat  We like to go for walks, drives, play video games and watch dvd's too.

We are boring too!!.....These days we actually enjoy working on the house, yard, and gardening. Plus the regular weekend laundry, cleaning and errands. And of course lots of quality time with our daughter going to local parks and places.

Our weeks are very boring work, home, dinner...work, home, dinner...
On the weekends we wake up on Saturday mornings and cook a gourmet breakfast. I leave at 10 to go to the stables to ride for a few hours, sometimes practice jumping. DH goes to driving range or to play a round of golf.
We usually lunch separately and meet again for tea around 4pm. We'll relax and then get ready for dinner in NYC or at a fancy LI restaurant. Then we hit the music scene or a play, occasionally movie.
Sunday is always a nice brunch with friends then a bit of shopping or a drive. Wine and cheese in the afternoon...ok ok just kidding but wouldn't it be nice? We do yard work, clean the house, food shop and fix up the house too, we see friends and family about every other weekend.

We're boring during the week. On weekends, we usually plan things (beach, park, concerts, Manhattan). If we were off leading fabulous lives, we'd be broke.
etd. to clarify - my company has a corporate apartment in Manhattan, so that's free for us.

Well I guess you can add us to the boring list as well. We're pretty content with our lives though so it doesn't really bother us that we don't get out and do as much as we used to.
We do get together with friends and now that's it's summer there will be more BBQ's and parties to attend.

i feel the same way - seems like the highlights of the day are going out shopping, finding the time to shower and tidy up the house - its difinitely alittle more difficult now with the baby to be as spontaneous as before because she is so little - but with the nice weather approaching we plan to take advantage and go to the park, go out for walks and to the beach so that we could all get out of the house and do something fun.

Humm I dont know, you just described my life. Although we have our boat but who knows how much we'll be using it now that the baby is here. This year will be hard since she is so little.

Well then here is another boring couple during the week its work come home cook play a little with DD bath and bed time straighten up mess and we g et ready for bed well I do anyway FH and I will wat ch some tv together. On the weekend we don't do much we will go to the park either together or I will take our DD alone at times. We will go out to eat as a family once in a blue moon and to spice things up we go to the zoo or the aquarium once a year lol lol lol
