weird tummy issues in third tri

And yes beware about to talk about poop! Lol. So this whole pg had constipation and taken colace. Before pg had opposite pretty much like ibs but with diahrea. So sunday I was at the store and had severe stomach issues bending obver in pain and went to potty and pooped but to be honest the cramping felt like stomach flu intensity but nothing like that happenend. The next day same pains but no bathroom so went to doc to make sure I wasn't mistakjing them and were contractions. So baby is fine no contractions. But now today I keep getting horrrrible bathroom cramps periodically but nothing happens but I hear stomach making those scary sounds kwim? Sooooo if baby is fine is this normal for third tri? If not can I have a baby tummy bug even if there is only normal bathroom acrtivity? Sorry! Its just sooooooo urgent aNd painful and its confusing me. ( And btw not backed up bc I take colace). Tia!!

I've had similar stomach issues too. Like doubled over in pain where I've called the emergency doctor line thinking I might be in labor. Turns out they thought it was just gas maybe that's what's going on with your tummy too?

My stomach has definately been more tempermental in the 3rd trimester. I've had several bouts of a bad stomach that lasts a day or two and then I go back to normal---but it's been full blown with cramping, running to the bathroom, etc.

yes for the past week (Im 34 weeks now) dh saw me the other night I stopped dead in my tracks held on the the table and doubled over
....I told him its either gas or Im in labor!
This has happend several times this week and going to the bathroom has not been an easy thing to do lately

It does seem to happen more at night after dinner...I think my ds is not happy after dinner like he has to share his space lol

this happened to me in the first trimester and i notice if i eat too much too close in time. I have started to take colace also hoping that it will make the movement as my Nann would say easier. It still hwppens once in a while and that is the worst feeling ever.(so far)

I've def had back and forth tummy issues in the 3rd tri as well. Mostly constipated, but occassionally, it would "loosen" up. I think everything is just getting so squished up and moved around that it's all sorts of confused. Do you think that maybe the colace is getting too strong for you right now? I know I was having a lot of problems going and I had mentioned colace to my OB but he didn't want to put me on it b/c he said it was too much of a stimulant and felt that with my pre-term contractions, colace would only make the contractions worse. He lets me take milk of magnesia instead and that has finally evened me out over the past few week. Hope you feel better soon!
