weigh gain-ugh!
Okay, when I tell most people how far along I am I hear this "wow you are so tiny"... I am not a tiny person, but I guess my belly appears tiny to others. However, I have gained 25 pounds (which I worry is too much)...I don't feel huge, but everytime I get on the scale I worry that I am gaining too much! I still have 13 weeks to go! I can only imagine how much more I will gain!

First some hugs
I wish I could give you some advice. I am having the opposite problem. My belly is HUGE apparently (from all the comments I have been hearing ) but I only gained 11 lbs. I have 13 weeks to go also. I'm afraid of what I am going to look like.

Isn't it so weird how everyone's body reacts so differently to pregnancy!

Re: weigh gain-ugh!
I'm with you. Everyone says the tummy is small, but I've gained between 25-30 lbs and I have 12 weeks to go. My doc says I'm right on target.
I tell myself its just how my body is. I have friends whose bodies stay exactly the same except for their perfectly round bellies. I gained weight in my thighs, hips, and butt. But I feel good and I'm balanced!

Re: weigh gain-ugh!
I had the same with my first. Your body will just gain what it needs. It is hard to see the scale keep creeping up though. To make you feel a little better, at my 1 week post partum check up, I lost 27 lbs!

I know! And that was all baby and baby related "stuff". I was not by any means on any strict diet or anything. So even though I gained 47 lbs total- I only had 20 to lose after that 1 week check up.

First of all, don't look at the numbers!! You look wonderful and as long as you feel good and remain healthy, the numbers don't matter!

Re: weigh gain-ugh!
Don't worry about the numbers, there were months I gained 7-10 lbs...then this last week I lost 4. As long as your dr. says you are healthy, don't stress the numbers....
