We said yes
to IVF...
Had the class this a.m.
At first I kept thinking maybe we are rushing into this. But with so many obstacles we feel this is our best chance.
Im 36, have PCOS, one tube is completely blocked, I do not ovulate on my own, DH's SA came back okay, just a slight morphology issue. We considered trying IUI with Clomid first but with the blocked tube we would have to wait and hope every other month.
So, it begins. I had B/W and an U/S this a.m. If the bloodwork comes back that it doesnt look like my period is on its way on its own I will begin Provera tomorrow.
I'll begin a journal when the meds begin.
Im excited and nervous but happy to have a plan in place.

I was extremely nervous and reluctant to start IVF at all, especially around the holiday's but after years of TTC, my husband and I agree, why wait any longer....I dont want to delay any meeting my little baby that I know is just waiting to meet us too....
Best of Luck, outside of my amazing husband, this board and all the wonderful ladies on it, have saved my sanity....

Maybe we will be starting together!!! Im starting Provera tonight - 5 pills to bring on AF. Then CD 3 we begin BC.

totally totally my suggestion for anyone going through this at our age (i'm 36 too) IuI was a huge waste of time for me.
