We made an offer! (UPDATE on the bottoM)
Yesterday DH and I found the house that's perfect for us. Everything we want and need, great school district, and in the town we want.
We had went the open house and the realtor there said the buyer was very motivated to sell (and as a result had priced the house low). As soon as we left the open house we called our agent to put in an offer. Our agent left 2 voicemails for their agent.
That was yesterday and afternoon...and no response. I'm getting anxious. We love the house and I just hate waiting.

Sometimes after an open house they wait a little while to see if they get other offers. It stinks waiting.

where did you go I'm wondering if it was my house lol. We had an open house yesterday and the agent never called to let us know how it went. That would be so crazy if it was our house... we are very motivated to sell lol

The house is in Levittown
Ours is in Massapequa. That's great news though! I can't imagine how excited you both are, I hope everything goes well. I used to work for the Levittown School District so if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Their agent has to respond. You have a right to present your offer. Have your agent call their broker.

We heard back from our agent today. They counter offered (we figured they would) and we accepted!! Our agent said the sellers loved us and want us to have the house!! They arent even waiting for any other offers.
We already hired an inspector who's going there tomorrow.
I'm so excited!! I hope this works out!!
