We have a bean and a heartbeat!
Well ladies I can finally come out and post on this board. As a background I was on this board last June but suffered a miscarriage. I was TTC 7 months post m/c and finally got my BFP in early April! Since I had bad appts in teh past I wanted to wait till after my 1st appt to come out.
Well I had that appt today and I got to see my little bean flutter with a heartbeat and hear it! It was amazing!!! The doctor was very optimistic although I did measure 5 days smaller than I thought, so today it showed 6 weeks 6 days rather than 7 weeks 4 days I thought I was. But I am told 5 days isn't bad...
I get to go back in 2 weeks for blood work and another sono for my first real OB appointment.
I look forward to sharing!!!!

I am so happy for you! Believe it or not, I had a feeling b/c I hadn't really seen any updates on you on either the TTC or TTC/Miscarriage board.

Congratulations. Don't worry about the due date. At my first appointment mine was 3 days off what I thought it would be. At my second appointment the baby measured the original date I thought it would be. My dr said it could measure off by 5 days.
