We got our first shipment!! (with pics)
From the show! The tub, the vanity, the toilet and the light/fan... it looks like they REALLY listened because the one thing I BEGGED for was a claw foot tub!  Image Attachment(s):

The vanity is in white, not wood, with wainscotting... just what I asked for  and the lighting fixture is also a fan! Image Attachment(s):

ME TOO! The funniest part is when I found out we were getting a freight shipment from Kohler I hopped on the website to look at their bathtubs, and FELL IN LOVE with this bath but told hubby there was no way they got us this tub because it's one of the most expensive... I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I'm so glad we went through with the show

The schedule is from Nov. 14-29th, but with a few days off for Thanksgiving. The producer told me he only needs DH and I there for 3-4 days for taping, like to introduce ourselves and the ugly bathroom, and a little bit of the demolition, but after that we aren't allowed to sneak a peek until the unveiling at the end, though we CAN stay in the house. It's going to drive me crazy because DH and I have done every renovation in both our houses ourselves and to have no control over the bathroom design or construction is maddening! But, from the looks of what they're buying it seems like they got our style and are working with it

We just put that same lighting fixture (with the fan) in both our bathrooms. Actually, our bathrooms are in the process of being remodeled, but those are the light fixtures I picked.

I think I've seen this show! They had an episode where the bathroom window was right at the front door! So funny. Do they foot the whole bill for you? How did you get involved?

Yup, that's the show! The only reason why I applied is because a really good friend of mine works for the production company, but for a different show, I think the organization show, and I forwarded pics of our new house to her and she told me I HAD to apply to the show. So I did and they called me back and voila! They don't foot the whole bill - we have to contribute $4000.00 to the renovation and they provide the rest, which includes all labor and carpentry for two weeks, so in the end, in our minds, it's well worth it...

That tub is gorgeous. I couldn't afford the Kohler one, so I opted for a refinished antique one. I can't wait to see your after pics.
I think my bathroom is going to look quite similar. We ordered cabinets in "Providence" design that look like waintscotting and we're doing wainscotting on the walls too.
