We are going away this weekend with Cailen... some advice from BTDT moms please...
DH's parents and sister live in NJ, and his mom had a hysterectomy on the day I gave birth so they have not been able to meet Cailen yet...
DH's parents are putting us in a hotel room - we will have a crib there... we are also bringing the bouncy seat and boppy... besides the regular baby necessities, any thing else we should think of bringing to prepare for a hotel stay? Cailen will be 4 wks old tomorrow...

Do you have a pack and play? Honestly the mattress in the hotel cribs are very low, if your son startles at being put down that may be a little bit of a problem. The pack and play is your best choice, plus you cant count on the cleanliness of the hotel crib. IF you do use the crib, bring your own sheets and quite possibly some antibacterial wipes to wipe down the mattress.

We dont have crib sheets yet!!! Just bassinet sheets...
We dont have room in the car for the pack and play....

I think you can skip the PnP if you don't have room for it, but I would definitely run out and buy a crib sheet. If you can't get to a baby store, then stop on the way at Walmart or Target.

maybe I'll do that - I mean, we are going to eventually need them anyway....

Just an FYI - when Dh and I went away - the hotel we stayed at supplied us with a pack and play and called it a crib. Just be sure what you are getting so that you can get the proper sheets.

ok -I'll call - he sleeps in his bouncer mostly, which we are bringing!!!!
